"Be The Rainbow Through The Darkness" is my second Limited Edition Print in the 'Mid-Air Melbourne' series.
In this series every photo will have something suspended in 'Mid-Air'.
Shot after Melbourne emerged from lock down in 2021.
The photo is taken in Hosier Lane, one of the most famous street art lanes in the world. I had local Melbourne artist, J-Boy, paint the right hand-side wall with "Forever Melbourne" as an homage to our great city.
The mid-air element is Holi Powder which I am catapulting into the air from a wine glass as I cheers Melbourne! This is casting a rainbow over Candice who holds the famous rainbow umbrella.
The print looks spectacular on paper!
We did our test run this week and the result was beyond what I imagined.
This year there are 5 different sizes as below:
A4: edition of 52
A3: edition of 52
A1: edition of 52
A0: edition of 26
and also a special HUGE SIZE!
155cm X 110cm of which there will be just 10 printed ever!
I have chosen these sizes as they are the easiest to frame.
Each print is signed and numbered and has also been embossed with my logo to ensure it is authentic. You will also receive a signed certificate of authenticity with each print.
The print is on archival, museum grade 315gsm cotton paper. Limited edition prints are never re-stocked once sold out. Prints come with a white border for framing. To preserve the edition all orders are final, no returns or exchanges. I will be using express post for no extra cost to normal post to make sure all prints ordered arrive ASAP!
I will start posting the prints around the 1st of December and it will take me around a week to post them all.
Tracking number will be sent on shipment.
Thank you so much for your support of my art.
My ultimate goal/dream with the limited editions is to have a 'Mid-Air Melbourne' exhibition in the NGV. If that happens you will get a personal invite from me to attend the exhibition.
Thanks once again,
Chris.
